# International timber industry & renewable energies

Wood & Energy is an internationally focused group of companies that has been operating in the wood processing industry since 1997.

**Wood & Energy stands for regional and sustainable forestry, the production of high-quality solid wood products, renewable energy and the optimum use of synergies between material and energy cycles.**

Responsible use of wood as a raw material includes complete recycling in accordance with the principle of zero waste. In addition to the production of [sawn timber](/sawn-timber/), [KVH® structural timber](/solid-structural-timber/), etc. from regional woods, we produce [biofuels](/wood-pellets/) (pellets) and generate [renewable energy](/renewable-energies/) in the form of electricity and heat. We supply wholesalers and the processing industry throughout Europe and beyond from our [3 production sites](/locations/) in the heart of Europe.
