# Two New Gantry Cranes for IBH

	
A major step toward the “sawmill of the future”

**In mid-November, two new gantry cranes were installed at the IBH site in Harperscheid (D). This upgrade marks an important milestone in the extensive modernization of the log yard.**

Work on the yard is moving forward quickly. The upper structures supplied by Sennebogen combine seamlessly with the custom-built HOLTEC VPK Loghandler electric gantry cranes to create a powerful unit that takes log handling to a whole new level.

Installing these multi-ton components demanded absolute precision and flawless coordination. The heavy-lifting company Choffray handled the job with care, bringing in a special crane to place both systems safely onto their rails.

With this twin-crane setup, IBH is on track to become one of the most advanced log yards in Europe. Together with our partners [HOLTEC](https://www.holtec.de/en/) and [Sennebogen](https://www.sennebogen.com/en/), we’re sending a clear message.
