# Pellet production expanded at IBV in Vielsalm

	
Wood & Energy will produce sustainable and CO2-neutral fuel for an additional 14,000 families.

Wood pellet production is currently being expanded at our site in Vielsalm, which will increase production capacity by 70,000 t/a. Sawmill by-products from the company's own sawmills will provide the raw material. These are dried using the heat from the biomass cogeneration plant and then compressed.

The installation is scheduled to go into operation at the end of 2022, enabling Wood & Energy to meet the increased demand for the highest quality wood pellets in the future.
