Wood & Energy produces heating energy for the future
Increasing numbers of homeowners are turning to renewable energy sources, particularly wood pellets and wood chips. These natural fuels offer an efficient, cost-effective and climate-friendly alternative to fossil sources of energy such as oil and gas.
Why wood pellets?
Wood pellets consist of natural sawdust and wood chips, i.e. by-products obtained during wood processing. They are compacted under high pressure without chemical additives and offer a high calorific value with low emissions. Modern pellet heating systems achieve efficiency levels of up to 95 %. For private households this means efficient heating, lower heating costs and, at the same time, climate protection.
Renewable rather than fossil fuels
Pellets are CO₂-neutral compared to fossil fuels. When they burn, they only release as much carbon dioxide as the tree previously absorbed during its growth. Pellet heating systems thus actively contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This is a clear benefit for anyone wishing to act in an environmentally responsible manner.
Regional production, sustainable circular flows
At Wood & Energy, we focus on regional, resource-efficient pellet production. Our wood pellets are made from by-products originating at our sawmills and are produced using green energy from our company's own biomass cogeneration plants, enabling us to achieve a closed material and energy cycle, in line with the zero-waste principle.
For wholesalers and end customers
We sell our pellets through a extensive network of sales partners in Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands and beyond. Both commercial customers and end consumers benefit from reliable availability, certified quality (DINplus / ENplus) as well as flexible packaging and delivery options.
